List of Journals Indexed for MEDLINE

MEDLINE is an online bibliographic index of scholarly journals and periodicals from the United States National Library of Medicine (NLM). A component of PubMed, the general NLM index, the 5,490 journals listed on MEDLINE are concerned mainly with life sciences, especially biomedicine and health.

A search on MEDLINE gives a bibliographic citation (e.g. authors, title, source) and, in many cases, an abstract of the article. A growing number of MEDLINE citations also feature free digital copies of the full text of articles.
