Subconscious Mind

1. Find a quiet place where you can relax.

Choose somewhere free from distractions or people that will disturb you.

2. Sit in a comfortable position.

This can be any position at all, as long as it doesn’t cause you any physical discomfort. Get comfortable and close your eyes.

3. Relax your body.

With your eyes closed, take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Breath slowly and feel your chest rising and falling. Feel the air fill your lungs and calmly release it. You need your body to be fully relaxed before you can start dealing with your subconscious mind.

4. Clear your mind.

With so much mental chatter in your head you can’t hear your subconscious mind. Focus on emptying your mind of all inner voices. If a thought comes into your head, calmly dismiss it. Don’t get frustrated if this keeps happening or you will ruin your concentration. Just stay focused on clearing your mind. Continue to empty your mind for five to ten minutes.

5. Repeat a phrase to yourself.

This is the phrase that you will use to change your subconscious mind. Repeat it slow and rhythmically until it appears to repeat by itself. The sentence should be slow and simple so that you can easily remember and repeat it.

For example, if you wish to quit smoking you could choose the sentence, “I don’t want to smoke” and repeat it over and over again. Do this for another five to ten minutes. By doing this one or two times each day you will find your subconscious mind listening to the command.
