Places to See In Ruse
Ruse is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria, located by the Danube river, across the border with Giurgiu, Romania. It's a small city with a lot to offer, so read below to find out what you can do if you ever stop by. It's amazing how such a small city can have places that go beyond this list.

If you ever feel like stopping by the Eastern Europe, go to see Bulgaria, you won't regret it.

1. the Freedom Square

Like me, this will possibly be the first place you will see in the city. It's right in the center and it holds the Monument of Liberty. It's a beautiful square where every now and then they have free concerts and events for politicians.

You can easily find everything you need around it, book stores, bakery shops, restaurants, perfumeries and even second hand shops like Humana, famous in and outside Europe.

2. the Tv Tower

Nowadays, it's not open for visitation like it once was, but definitely worth seeing as it is the tallest of Bulgaria, with 204 meters. In the surroundings of the tower, they have a cozy restaurante called Leventa, popular for events like wedding parties and birthday.

3. the Museum of History

Although not all the descriptions are in English, you can learn so much about the history of the city and see very unique artefacts.

4. the Eco Museum and Aquarium

The aquarium downstairs is quite small, but the tour can be easily rated 5 stars just by seeing the very real mammoth they have upstairs and the decoration set up in the whole building.

Not everything will be written in English, once more, but if you are a fan of fauna and flora you should definitely visit this place.

5. the Pantheon

This is a tricky one for me to write about as I have never been inside, but just the outside is enough to amaze you.

The architecture and location contribute to making you want to know more. It was built for the national heroes who died for the freedom of the country, therefore, it holds a lot of history.
