The range of temperature optimal for a Zoll smart battery depends on whether it is being used or not. The proper operating temperature is 0 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius. The optimal charging temperature is narrower, ranging from 15 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius.

 

Storage

The proper storage temperature for a Zoll smart battery is the broadest of the three ranges. A Zoll battery can be stored from -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius.

 

Significance

Zoll smart battery modules have a microprocessor that indicates the amount of time remaining before the battery needs to be recharged. A storage temperature that is too high or too low may affect the life of the battery.
